Mitchell came back with six runs in the home half of the third—all with two outs—to vault into the lead. Eric Marriott knocked in two runs with a ground-rule double while Pagan, Markus Melendez and Peter Abate all provided RBI singles.

The Seahawks sent 12 batters to the plate in the frame and racked up six hits to go with a pair of Mitchell errors. Vargas knocked in three runs with a bases-clearing double while Michael DeFusco contributed a two-run double to highlight the rally.

The 13-6 lead was more than enough for reliever Michael Mathews, who pitched 3.1 innings of shutout ball and struck out six to earn the victory. He improved to 2-1 on the season.

Mitchell will next host Becker College on Saturday, April 14 at noon. Salve Regina returns to action at home against Eastern Nazarene College on Saturday, April 14 at noon.
