Baseball Tabbed Third in NECC Poll February 23, 2010 ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Becker College, the 2009 Inaugural New England Collegiate Conference Champions, has been chosen as the preseason favorite to capture the NECC baseball championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the NECC’s head baseball coaches.
Mariners Earn CUNYAC Baseball All-Conference Recognition, Deltgen Named to First Team May 13, 2009 FLUSHING, N.Y. – Mitchell College senior pitcher, Adam Deltgen (Norwich, Conn.) was named to the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Baseball All-Conference First Team for his efforts this season. Fellow Mariners Clayton Boegler (Somerset, Mass.) and Jeff Perillo (Newington, Conn.) were both named to the CUNYAC All-Conference second team.
Baruch Beats Mitchell for CUNYAC Baseball Championship May 9, 2009 Brooklyn, N.Y. - Top-seeded Baruch College scored two runs in its final at-bat defeating Mitchell College to win the 2009 CUNY Athletic Conference Baseball Championship 6-5 on Saturday afternoon at Keyspan Park. It is the Bearcats second tournament title, having captured the 2001 crown with a 5-3 win over the College of Staten Island.
