Mitchell Finishes Second At Nichols Tri-Match, Luna and Cretella Tie For Third Overall
Dudley, Mass.- The Nichols men's golf team picked up another two wins on Friday as it hosted Mitchell College and Daniel Webster College at the Dudley/Webster Golf Course. Mitchell's Rob Luna and Jeff Cretella tied for third with an 81. Mitchell went 1-1 as it shot a 354 while Daniel Webster shot a 369. Nichols finished well ahead of both teams, shooting a 313.
LOCAL GOLF PRO TAKES HELM OF MITCHELL COLLEGE GOLF TEAM
NEW LONON, CONN. - Waterford, Conn. native and local golf pro Chris Hedden has been hired as the new Men's Golf coach at Mitchell College. A former Connecticut State Junior Champion, Waterford High School State Champion, and a two-time New London Country Club Champion, Hedden is a certified golf instructor with the United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF).

Founded in 1993, the Mitchell College Golf program is built on a very successful NJCAA reputation. Now competing at the NCAA Division III level, the Team is excited about their continued growth and potential. Mitchell currently competes against some of the top Division III programs in New England. They have the opportunity to golf on some of the finest courses in the region with trips throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine.
