LACROSSE DROPS SECOND GAME OF THE SEASON TO USM
NEW LONDON, CT- Mitchell College was defeated in their second home game 18-2 Wednesday by the Huskies of Southern Maine. Mitchell is now 0-2 on the young season.
Mitchell goals were scored by Paul Patini (St. Bernard/Mystic, CT) n the first period and sophomore attacker Zach Ledvina (New Bedford, HS/New Bedford, MA) in the second period.
Southern Maine's goal barrage was led by sophomore attacker Tyler Mayberry's (Greely HS/North Yarmouth, ME) four and a hat trick from senior midfielder Matt Soule (Fryeburg Academy/Denmark, ME).
Mitchell College will be in action next Saturday March 31st in an away contest at Green Mountain College with a start time of 2:00 PM. Southern Maine's next scheduled opponent is Eastern Connecticut also on Saturday the 31st at 2:00 PM.
