Bio


Todd Peretz is in his eighth season as head coach of the Mitchell College men's and women's cross country programs.

Peretz was named the AD3I Coach of the Year in 2007. Since the Mariners joined the New England Collegiate Conference in 2008, Peretz's programs have produced 15 all-conference selections, a pair of NECC Rookies of the Year and the 2011 NECC Runner of the Year. He has also led the men's squad to four consecutive runner-up finishes at the NECC Championship, and last season the women's team finished as runner-up as well.

Peretz earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University in general studies with a concentration in physical education. He played collegiately at Rhode Island College after graduating from East Lyme High School. In addition to coaching cross country, Peretz also coaches men's basketball and is the scheduling coordinator at Mitchell College. He currently resides in Niantic with his wife, Denise, and son, Tyler.
