WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFEATS COLLEGE OF ST. JOSEPH (VT) 3-0
Mitchell College Women's Soccer found their way back to a win today in their 3-0 defeat of College of St. Joseph (VT) (2-12). Mitchell, now 6-11, dominated the play out shooting the Saints 42-0.
The Pequots netted the first goal at 20:18 when Krystin Grover (Fr., Manchester Center, VT) found teammate Anna MacKenzie (Fr., Ridge, NY) for a tap in at the goal. Minutes later Mackenzie returned the favor to teammate Lauren Hall (Fr., Pawtucket, RI) for Mitchell's second point. Sophomore Kailynn Orr (Westerly, RI) finished out the day with an unassisted goal at 80:51. College of St. Joseph keeper Katie Chase (Jr., Chateaugay, NY) wrapped up 18 saves.
Mitchell will wrap up their regular season at home next Saturday when they host Morrisville State College for a 2:00 PM kick-off. College of St. Joseph will host Sunrise Conference rival VTC for a 4:00 game on Tuesday.
