Rick Carmona
Rick Carmona is entering his third season as head coach of the
Mitchell College men's and women's tennis teams.
Carmona led the Mitchell men's program to New England
Collegiate Conference (NECC) regular season titles in both 2009 and
2010. The Mariners went undefeated in each season and have yet to
lose a match under Carmona's tutelage. He has produced eight
all-conference selections in two seasons--including back-to-back
NECC Player and Rookies of the Year--and was named NECC Coach
of the Year in 2009.
On the women's side, the Mariners have won five matches during
Carmona's tenure and qualified six players for the NECC
Championship in 2009. Mitchell also received the NECC Team
Sportsmanship Award in 2008.
