Mariners sail past Anna Maria, 3-1

PAXTON, Mass.- Stephanie Davis (Ledyard, Conn.) had 11 kills and eight digs to lead the Mitchell College women's volleyball team past Anna Maria College, 3-1.

The AMCATS took the first game 25-21 before the Mariners stormed back to take the next three games in a row by scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-18.

Leading the way for the AMCATS was Laham with three kills, 15 digs, five assists, and four aces. Junior Brittany Langdeau (Wolcott, Conn.) chipped in with 22 digs in two kills, while Nicole Robbie (Bellingham, Mass.) had 17 digs and two kills. Sparking the Mariner attack was Davis, followed by Sarah Senetcen (Terryville, Conn.) with seven kills and six digs. Dana Keefe (Cascade, Mont.) also contributed nine digs and three aces.

With the win the Mariners improve to 6-12 overall while remaining 2-3 in the NECC. They will travel to take on Becker at 12:30 on Saturday.
