      <description>NEW LONDON, CT--New Britain High School graduate and Mitchell College freshman Ryan West earned honors as both Goalkeeper (tie) and Rookie of the Year.  In his first season with the Pequots, West tallied 79 saves, four shutouts and allowed only one goal in seven other games finishing the year with a 9-6-3 record.</description>

      <description>NEW LONDON, CT--Mitchell College men's soccer (5-2-3) battled 110 minutes with the AMCATS of Anna Maria College (5-6-1) for their third tie of the season Monday night.  Both teams played a fast paced, physical game.  Mitchell out-shot Anna Maria 15-11 for the game.  The Pequots dominated the overtime periods out-shooting the AMCATS 7-0, but were unable to find the back of the net.</description>

      <title>MEN'S SOCCER WINS HOME OPENER 5-1</title>

      <description>NEW LONDON, CT--Mitchell College men's soccer (2-0-1) defeated Daniel Webster College (Nashua, NH) 5-1 in their home opener Wednesday afternoon in New London, CT. Mitchell scored at the 16:38 mark on a cross from Chris McKinnel (SR, Branford, CT) in tight traffic to TJ Smith (SR,  Wallkill, NY).  Niko Papathanasiou (JR, Quaker Hill, CT) went on a run with a goal at 33:32 off a give and go from teammate Joshua DaSilveira (SO, Milford, NH) and again unassisted off the reset at 33:32 into the game.</description>
