Furgueson Hired to Lead Mitchell's Sailing Program
Mitchell College recently named Bill Furgueson as the Head Sailing
Coach of the Mitchell College sailing team. Bill has taught history
at the Williams School for the past 15 years and has coached
soccer, basketball, lacrosse and sailing there. As the sailing
coach at the Williams School, the team reached the High School
National Championship four different years and finshed third at
Nationals twice.
Most recently, Bill has been directing the growth of the Stonington
Harbor Yacht Club youth sailing program from 2002 until 2008.
Bill presently lives in his Mystic with his wife and two kids.
