Men’s Tennis Shuts Out Becker College
LEICESTER, Mass. - The Mitchell College men's tennis team shut out Becker College in a key NECC match today 9-0. Kyle Carmona (Norwich, Conn.) continued his winning ways picking up the #1 singles win as well as the #1 doubles win with partner Andrew Small (Westerly, R.I.).
Daniel Dworetsky (Glastonbury, Conn.) teamed up with Tyler Engleberg (Niantic, Conn.) for the #2 doubles victory (8-2), while Chris White (Marshfield, Mass.) and Adam Samuels (New Rochelle, N.Y.) earned the #3 doubles win.
Engleberg, Dworetsky, and Samuels all earned straight set victories, while Samuel Mahar (Hoosick, N.Y.) and White won two out of three sets.
Mitchell is in action again on Saturday, April 11th when they travel to Wheelock College for another NECC match-up.
