Flanagan Named to NECC All-Conference Team
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Mitchell College sophomore Mackenzie Flanagan was one of six singles players named to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) All-Conference First Team for the sport of women's tennis, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Flanagan finished the season with an overall singles record of 9-3—all while playing at the No. 1 spot—and won seven of 10 matches against the conference's best players. She registered singles wins against all but one team in the NECC and improved her career record to 13-5 in league play.
Flanagan earns all-conference distinction for the second time in her career. Last season she was selected NECC Rookie of the Year and was named to the all-conference first team in singles.
Mitchell finished the 2011 season with an overall record of 1-11 and 0-10 in NECC play.
