Three Women’s Volleyball Players Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Three members of the Mitchell College women's volleyball team were named to the 2025–26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The 2025–26 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Honorees for the Mitchell women's volleyball team include seniors Julia Lent (Miller Place, N.Y.) and Jenna Blankenship (Virden, Ill.), along with junior Emily Rizzo (Bethel, Conn.).
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
