MURRAY SCORES 32 IN 94-83 LOSS TO GREEN MOUNTAIN COLLEGE

NEW LONDON, CT - Sophomore guard Eric Murray (Bridgeport, CT) scored a season high 32 points and grabbed 12 boards in Mitchell's 94-83 loss to Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) opponent Green Mountain College.  Mitchell drops to 0-13 overall and 0-2 against other Independents.  Green Mountain now stands at 11-2 and 2-3 AD3I. 

Leading the way for the Eagles was senior guard Adam Fisher (Miami, FL) with a triple-double.  Fisher dished out 10 assists, scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.  Senior center Doug Hammond (Brooklyn, NY) finished the game with 26 points and 17 boards for a double-double.

Mitchell will head to Salve Regina University on January 17th.  The men will play the second game of a double header with the women; game time is 7:30 PM.  Green Mountain will host Hartwick College on January 15th at 7:00 PM.
