Three Women’s Basketball Players Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Three members of the Mitchell College women's basketball team were named to the 2025–26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The 2025–26 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Honorees from the Mitchell women's basketball team include senior Nanda Sanchez (Houston, TX), junior Inonda Peterson (Houston, TX), and sophomore Jade Hypolite (Houston, TX).
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and athletically, hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games played or have started at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
